They are not making any excuses for having foreign tech support people. Infact they are saying that YOU should be more clear and straight forward in your dealing

7. Contacting ABIT
If you feel that you need to contact ABIT directly and you are in North America, you can send email to the ABIT USA technical support department. Please remember that for many of our technical support team English is a second language, you will have a better chance of getting a helpful answer if you question can be understood in the first place. Be sure to use very, simple, concise language that clearly states the problem, avoid rambling or flowery language and always list your system components. Here is the contact information for our branch offices:

I called them once they kept putting me on ETERNAL HOLD cause after the first 4 people not speaking english very well i wanted to shoot them and it showed through the phone. I do feel sorry though the first 4 people that listened to my ordeal listened very well and were polite until they couldn't help me.

Make a long story short my POS BH7 popped its NorthBridge HS it landed on my video card fried the card and gave one week of downtime. And wanted to charge me $7 to send me the Mobo first on top of it all.

I will never buy Abit again cause they don't have a customer relations department. They told me if the video card was not Abit too bad. They didn't even say Sorry sir Our POS mobo fried your more expensive vid card.

I didn't RMA the board I ghetto rigged it and just bit the big one bent over and let Abit ram it to me.

I did buy a new video card and Abit didn't get consideration.

If you have an Abit and you have little "U" clamps holding your NB HS on be careful your New 9800XT is toast if it goes and ATI will not have to RMA a card that died due to no fault of theirs.

Is this clear enuf:

This piece of CARP doesnt work! BROKEN! FINSIHED! DEAD!!

Wonder what that will come up as in BabelFish!!
