maybe for colleges, most grade schools(k-12) start the 2nd monday in August here, and end around may 30th.

and yep, if you're planning on upgrading ram in the next quarter for anyone/anyreason go ahead and get it now, they will be on the rise 'till around the 1st of October, then usually go down a bit till hallows eve and climb back up for the x-mas/hanuka season.

I agree with you all, memory is bound to go up because we have yet to hear of pc4000 or ddr2. There is no reason for prices to go down since the best market stuff will remain the same at least for another few months.

Shady06, go EXOS! those things rock... I built my watercooling and man is my case crammed. The exos is a nice median between price and performance.

When I was in school it started back up in September.

School starts earlier and earlier. Mine used to start in September, but now it's way into August.
