Mac, make your own thread you ass twitch. I didnt see you have your panties up in a bunch like this when I was asking for suggestion for so damn long. If you would have just pmed me I would have changed the date because no one was confirmed.

So, for my visit this weekend, my friends are being really cheap...which isn't very typical of them, but whatever. How many clubs do you have that we'll be able to get into with a $10-15 cover? I heard that you guys have some new one that's supposed to be really sharp...when I visit a city, I live it up, but I guess they're too worried about their money. fvck it, I'm getting paid on Friday

Other than that, what are the GOOD clubs? I'm a techno guy, but they like booty and hip-hop...anything with good bartenders, a good vibe and not too dirty (unless the music's good enough)

How about one meet for everyone, and a separate one for the over 21 crowd? MacBaine organizes the over 21 meet (seeing how kegs were immediately suggested for that meet) and then Chiboy organizes the general meet, suggestions?

EDIT: MacBaine, that was a pretty childish reaction to not getting your way.

I'm a fan of Sports bars so I can't really help you out there that much. But I've heard good things about Crobar. Is Soundbar the new cool one you're talking about? Avoid Excalibur like the plague (old people/suburbanites). Bar Chicago is a touristy place packed with bachelorette parties, but also good to hook up. Bar Chicago is at the intersection of Rush St. and Division St, none of the bars there have a super cool vibe, since the crowds are older/lamer.

We have a sticky & if we dont get at least 10 people than I think this is a no go. If we changed it to 5/15 we would get a lot more people from Perdue to go, I dont know if you guys want to do that?

I remember last time a chicago meet was attempted at the chicago d&B's, no one ended up going, saying they would have gone if it were the one in the suburbs

mainly the traffic concerns, it seems people don't want to sit in traffic for an hour or more each way. If we could make this a cubs game or some other event maybe it would be worthwhile though?

Its downtown at 8pm. screw that. im not driving 2 hours into chicago and back out late at night.

I would like to see one around napervile or such. at least one of the burbs. driving downtown at night is NOT something i want to do.

The only reason I would consider driving into the city is because I would have been deprived of being in Chicago for a great number of weeks. However, it would be a little easier for me to have it in the suburbs since most of us live in the suburbs. Oh well. We'll see what happens.

Agreed. Naperville would be a great location. That way I would have a place to crash.

Ive asked for a unsticky, I think the best time would be some where after May 15th & the place has to be a suburb. So make suggestion I guess I mean I wasnt really helped untill a date/time was decided by me & than that is when everyone started posting.

Yeah that was my thread. I gave up because burb peeps wouldn't come to the city and the city peeps won't come to the burbs.

I'm cool with everything as long as its not a fri night... You schoolboys will just have to quit complaining.
