Well, I am interning for the summer here in Houston, and I finally moved in and settled in, just wanted to say hello to all the fine and not so fine AT folks. And for the Htown ppl, what are must dos here in this town?

Hey DAM,

I've been to Houston a few times (my best friend from college works for NASA @ JSC). It's HUUUUGEEE! It's pretty nice I guess, but the intense heat, humidity and smog suck really bad. They also just dropped all the speed limits to 55... that bites because it takes so long to get to other parts of the area to begin with.

But there is tons of stuff to do there. Plus, they have Fry's!!

Downtown is cool... they have some nice clubs. Also, you like music so check out the Woodlands Pavilion. If I ever had to live in Houston I'd try to live in the Woodlands--that area is really cool! Kind of helps make you forget that Houston's a big concrete jungle. Plus, they have some great concerts there.

My favorite part about Houston is Papacitos... I know they have them all over Texas, but that's where I first had those fajitas... YUM!!
