OK, I wanna start real small, lets say with about $1500. You guys think it's worth it?

ndee, IMHO, the major tech companies, the one's who aren't going to disappear tomorrow might be a place to start, but w/ the War on Iraq looming here in the US, your best bet might be a low interest savings account, at least you can't lose anything.

Ditto. Right now, an acct. with ING might be the best option (it's what I'm doing, :eek:). After I get some money saved up (~$15k, maybe), I'm going to start doing some basic trading, look at buying tax liens, etc.

Yep. MSFT is a little riskier, IMO, just because of their current legal situation. IBM, AFAIK, has always been a good choice.
