had an ebay auction that clearly said no credit cards accepted.

the guy paid by credit card, i rejected the payment the next day and i have now sent him about 10 emails over 45 days. i filed the nonpaying bidder alert over a week ago, and today i decided to leave a negative feedback.

i spoke to the guy on the phone weeks ago and he even said he understood what was going on. I left another phone message for him too.

moreover, i found a friends paypal account that did accept credit cards and i even gave him the opportunity to pay to that and he still refused.

i decided that he deserved a negative feedback so i left him one. i saw that he already had one of these negative feedback and responded to its author with a subsequent negative eval.

I wish it were possible for ebay to not allow idiots to leave negative feedback when they are at fault...

Most of them don't read, I swear. I always say no credit cards and I get credit card payments. One time I said no credit cards at least 10 times in an e-mail and he still sent credit card.

cept out of all my last purchases, after i leave the seller feedback, i have to literally ASK them for feedback... they sometimes ask where the feedback is (for me to SHOW them) and then maybe i'll get feedback.. idiots!

What's so bad about credit card? They can send it to the same paypal account that you seem to already have. Just make sure they pay the fee.

The next time you sell something at auction and don't accept Paypal credit card, don't select Paypal as a payment auction. If you do, eBay will splash that colorful Paypal logo with all of the credit cards next to it. Some people can't read (evidenced by the "cliff notes" requests here) so don't add to the confusion.

It's as simple as that.

once you take a credit card paypal charges you the fee on all future orders. and you can only switch your account back from credit card to non credit card once

and it is against anandtech FS policy to have the user pay the credit card fee and i think this is becuase it is against an ebay/paypal policy or law of some type
