you almost die and SHE has issues??

i'll never understand women

Yeah, she has issues because she loves him, and all the fears that have probably been in the back of her mind all along, became a little too real to her at that moment. We don't deal well at all with the thought of the man we love being hurt.

grasshopper, it doesn't sound to me like she expects you to ask her to marry you now, she did say in a few years right? I think she was just freaked out, and thinking about what could happen in the future. Instead of being freaked, be glad she loves you so much, she is able to see you as still a part of her life in a few years from now, you two are lucky to have something so great.

*sigh*

My friend, this is one of THOSE dreaded times all us men fear; the "I need to put effort and time into the relationship AGAIN" thing.

Women are like exotic automobiles. They require regular maintenance, yes, but they are more prone to breaking down and making big problems out of little things than the average econobox.

You need to:

Buy flowers and a card. A mushy, mushy, gooshy card with Swans on the cover. Women love swans....write inside how much you love her, and how the thought of losing her makes you physically sick, blah, blah, blha.

You go over, you get teary-eyed with her. She punches you in the chest, calls you a selfish sonofabitch. Then you get kisses, she falls asleep on the couch and you LEAVE. But leave a little note "Snhookie, you feel asleep, so I let you sleep. I love you and will call you later."

She's happy and you win.

Oh, take a day or two off from flying...let her settle down. She doesn't quite get the whole "If I don't fly, I don't make any money" thing.
