I bought a lot of corsair product; memory, AIO water coolers, cases, PSU and SSD.

Since I build my current rig I had problems with the AIO and the PSU. The AIO radiator mounting holes was stripped and the PSU fan started make loud clicking noise during boot up.

I went to corsair customer support site, put in my ticket and got a response two business days later offering for a full advance RMA and they will pay for shipping and send me a new product instead of a refurbish, even though my AIO was a refurbish SKU from new egg.

I swear by Corsair products for just this reason ... industry-leading warranty support. I'll happily pay a reasonable premium for top-notch service.

Having said that if you keep your eyes open there are great deals to be had on Corsair products on a pretty regular basis.

This is why I also stay loyal to Logitech.

If their mouses/keyboards ever go belly up in 3 years (for my products at least), they'll very likely mail you a new, often current year equivalent product.

I run their ram. They make good stuff. They're on my short list of mfgs I trust, along with Asus.

I don't mind this discussion being in OT, as I rarely visit the GH forum. I agree, Corsair is a good company that makes great products.

I think their ram is overpriced; G.Skill has always been rocksolid for me. Cheaper ram that looks just as good with better timings at lower voltages. I like Corsair PSUs; unless a deal on some other good brand is drawing me in or I have some weird requirement stopping me, a lot of times I'll get there's.

I never got anything else by them. I always order samsung ssds lately.

Corsair's higher end memory had lots of problems, I think for the vengeance/dominator series.

I havce some vengeance 1600mhz RAM that wont run at the rated speed. Runs 1333 fine though so I never sent it back. I love their cases and keyboards but looking at the price I kinda expect top notch customer service, it's a shame some other companies charge top dollar and have a returns service that makes you want to hang yourself.

I don't buy Corsair exclusively, but I've had good luck with them. Never had to RMA anything.

I applied for a job recently at Corsair, a managerial position role. I've always found their products and customer service to be above most other brands in the industry. Not many watercooling vendors will send out new units without thoroughly inspecting the original faulty unit, but I've seen corsair do it a few times.

One downside though is that they (apparently) don't know how to shred confidential documents. At my current job (IT manager for recycling facility) I ended up finding a solid stack of confidential paperwork that had been dumped from their office. I had it destroyed as a precaution, but it was pretty careless to throw away stacks of incredibly sensitive employee documents in regular trash. One good gust and that information could have ended in the wrong hangs :|.

Yea, Corsair is the only RMA process i've used that didn't make me go WTF? It just worked, worked well, was quick and made sense.

I'm going through an ASUS RMA now,.... like stepping dogshit face. "No!, what?, really?, come on!"

Corsair, Asus, Logitech. See sig rig. Says it all. (Though I agree about GSkill RAM)

I'm basically an Asus fanboy. I've been running their motherboards for years, and I have an Asus router now as well.

Also agree about G.Skill. Another good mfg.

I use G.Skill simply because their name is 'Great Skill' and it is so FOB that I can't help by smile.

I have a few Corsair products and they have always worked very well for me. Never had to RMA anything.

It seems like their ram went from 4gb for $20 to suddenly being $40 in the span of a year. I thought this ram stuff was supposed to get cheaper over time? :(

It does, until it gets to the end of it's life cycle. I bought 4gb of DDR2 and when I sold it, I actually got more than I paid for it, simply due to the fact that it was so much more expensive.

Corsair will replace your entire computer if one of their water coolers leak onto your other system components. Source: I used to work at a gaming computer company and we didn't cover water damage. I just told customers to call up Corsair.

Also I will never buy Razer again. Good products, horrible software, and they won't help you with it if you are out of warranty.
