My wife is looking for a small, elegant radio system with decent sound quality for our home office. She mentioned the wave radio but I wouldn't want to spend that much for the crap that is bose.

Any suggestions for an alternate that as small with better sound quality?

Go to store.

Listen to it.

Buy the one you like.

I mean, you should know. After all, you know Bose is crap, so that means you should know how to pick out a good sounding radio.

Just spend 150k+ on Burmester, screw small, go for elegant and let her see the light. :D

Check out Cambridge Soundworks. Top notch, less $ than Bose, sounds fantastic.

Amex has a logitech that does network and internet radio in their wishlist today for $120 (over half off). If I were in the market for a tabletop radio, I would definitely consider that one.
