Now how more retarded can these apple commericals get?

Yeah, I thought that sounded a little misleading. Are they really trying to convince us that their new operating systems can run perfectly well on four or five year old Macs? I doubt it...

I accidentally flipped on a home shopping channel a day or two ago and they were selling Gateways so I decided to watch a little. The Gateway rep started getting into a sales spiel about how the computer getting hot damages the internal components. He then explained that Gateway alleviates the heat by putting a fan in the front and the back. WOW!!! Then they put up a graphic demonstrating how the air flows in the front and out the back, protecting the delicate components.

Haha. Yeah, those home shopping channels are priceless. They really take the old sales tactic of preying on people's ignorance. Just one step away from a pure con-artist if you ask me.

Here we have the resident domestic hater show up to derail the Apple thread into more relentless GM bashing.

😕

Didn't they had a big problem a while back when their new OS ran like crap on their crappy craptastic older Macs?

Nice attempted thread hijack, I'm not gonna touch this one.

the one witjh the pc going in for surgery is complete BS.

Maybe somebody should respond with a commercial about how if the owner wants the PC can go in for surgery that makes it much stronger/faster, but the mac is stuck.

OMG misleading advertising!!!! How could they? I can't believe a company would make an ad saying that their product is better than someone else's.
