Now HL doesn't connect to servers...grr

OK, first off, I'm on my school's network, they limit some programs, but have never limited games from accessing the net. Anyways, last night I started a LAN server and 1v1'd a roomate, and quit for the night. I could connect to servers just fine. But now, when I try to connect, I get an error message (either a WON auth error, or a generic msg), and I can't connect to any servers :| Could my school have detected that I was running a server and blocked my access (through my hardware/MAC address)?

HL and WON have been doing a lot of that lately. I dunno why.

i'd venture a guess and say that your school blocked out the ports/access after they found you accessing it. That poses a potential security hazard with you running open ports.
