Well, I never drank beer, never plan to drink beer, and no one in my family going back two generations drank beer.

Well, although I don't plan to do much in November for TAS - I'm in a Seti race as you well know, and then I want to find my annual prime - I voted for Euler because I know the author and might be able to put in a good word or something.

Anyway, I noticed that on that poll, I'm the first one to vote!:shocked:

There are two voting pages this time; one for non-BOINC projects and one for BOINC projects. You were the first to vote on the non-BOINC page. I think maybe some of us are getting lazy and don't want to learn a new client. It is so easy to switch BOINC projects!

Peter, I'm German: I was raised with :beer:, I had my first try of :beer: when I was 6 months old (yes, my father gave me some), I bought my first box of :beer: when I was 12 years old, I drink at least one :beer: a day and couldn't live without a good, cold :beer: day!! Well, maybe, but it wouldn't be as much fun as it is now with :beer: !! Down here in Bavaria there are 3 basic foods and their supply is guaranteed by the Bavarian government: bread, milk and :beer:!

You see, I can really feel what your sacrifice for TAs would be!

i also wonder how Peter will actually "not accept" :beer: icons in a PM. I mean, as soon as he opens them, there they are, the "evil" :beer: icons.

I will write a small visual basic program which checks all posts and puts big black squares over the beer icons. or exchanges them for a soda-pop-bottle - or a icon of a scantily-clad --- hmhmhmh 😀
I mean: how hard can that be ... LOL! 😉






I just checked the source of the page: I only need to exchange - before displaying - the expression "beer.gif" with anyting (e-g- **) and the only thing which would happen is that I would see the "broken image-link icon" - that's it. However I think that we will get enough votes ... though. Looks like an interesting exercise in programming ... 🙂

This is serious.. someone needs to pick up the slack, so I'll step forward and pledge to drink all the beer that petrusbroder would have otherwise before he made this commitment! 😛
