I just received an email from Charrie Hugo [chariz@netcityjp.com] about some kind of financial garbage. I have aliases for every site I give my email address to (anandtech, newegg, ZZF, etc.) I don't give out my actual email account name. This also helps me track spam and where it originated. While I know AT does a pretty nice trick of inserting REMOVE at random in peoples email addresses, I'm wondering if we need to change it up to stop a bot. It's possible someone personally took my email address and fed it to a spammer out of spite. 😛 If not, it's not a big deal, I'll just change my address to something else. 🙂 Not everyone does this or can do this, but everyone hates spam. Just thought I'd pass the word on.
