Now Doom3 is out (PC) How can I benchmark?

OK its only 3 levels but how can I run a benchmark?

I thought i -heard- iD was taking action against any public boards about this? Sorry just curious as i don't have it.

Don't bother with benchmarks. It won't even be an indicator of how the game will perform because its just alpha v0.02. I am just amazed at the graphics of the 3 levels. I can't for the final game to come out. I'm sure its going to be incredible.

It's easy enought to find,just open up your newsgroup program & go look in alt.binaries.games.worms .

Wow, I am stunned that ID actually has had a leak of Doom III. Usally they are very tight about leaks of any of their games. I wish it didnt get out, alot of the speculation and hype might die down.

Sounds like a good thing to me.
That way we won't have one million posts about "How will my setup play Doom3", "When will D3 be out?", etc etc.
And once it does get out, we wont see a million posts about how bad it sucks cause people get disapointed that it isn't the second coming it was hyped up to be.

Heh, I remember that leak. That and Unreal Tournament were the only leaked things I ever downloaded, because I liked Q2 and Unreal so much. The Q3 leak was horrible, just a whole bunch of red and fog, basically.

Well my athlon 1.4 and gf3 barely makes the game playable. That is with the default graphics levels which I think is 640x480. Has anyone figured out the code for the keypad on level 2?

U.S. federal law specifically does not allow the owners/administrators of a public Internet forum or bulletin board to be sued for content posted there. They're not even required to remove the offending material from the page.

All I see for FPS is Checking FPS: type com_drawfps 1
