Didn't last long. The online price jumped from 29.99 to 69.99
Hope you got yours

At OfficeMax
:) K-Byte Memory Modules Item # 20079013

K-Byte 256MB Memory Module. 29.99
$16 Mfr?s Mail-In Rebate. $15 Mail-In OfficeMax Rebate.
Limit 1.
Cost after rebates. -$1.01 plus tax

I added this to some other things I ordered and used the 20 off 100 coupon

This could be a price mistake since it is cheaper than the instore ads have been.

There are 2 rebates offered on the website, both seem to require original upc.

I followed up on the 2 UPC question and this is what I got,

Called the CSR at 888-288-5132, spoke to Lynda. She said they had recieved a memo that is was ok to send copy of UPC for the $15 rebate that goes to Young America, MN

So:
Original UPC goes to Phoenix, AZ
Copy goes to Young America, MN

Would suggest you keep a copy of both for your records.

$15 Rebate

$16 Rebate :D

This is a really good deal....doesn't seem like a mistake..........on the OfficeMax rebate form, it states that copies of UPCs and receipts are acceptable..........but then below that it says to save the orignal UPC??????!!!!!
I think you might be able to use both rebates..........can someone please confirm?

Combine this with the FAR universal remote, leather chair and you get yourself a decent deal approx 20 + tax. + MSN if it will still work.

so whats ur point. When u stick it in ur cart it comes up 29.99, which ONLY includes the $19 instant rebate. There is a period after the first rebate...........

I think only the items with the "*" asterick behind it are the ones where "copies of UPCs and receipts are acceptable"

Where's the $12 rebate then? I'm only getting this if the RAM is free after rebate or close to it, so let me know what rebates are good if you would.

TIA,

following your link spank does lead to the OM MIR pdf (this one is the one gets copy of UPC..the next pdf is the manufacturer's pdf ..) and the manufacturer's OM pdf which requires the original UPC ..ram is $29.99 after instant and then there's a combined $31 worth of MIRs ..so this is a free ram(or close enough to free/get paid to take it ;)) deal and today is the last day. :) As always YMMV. Guess need to grab one. :D

That was one of my questions. The Young America rebate didn't have an asterik next to it, so they too wanted the original UPC. Thanks for looking into this for us.

The other question that I had was that the site has a $12 MIR, not a $16 MIR. Is that a typo or is there a $12 rebate also?

Thanks again.

Tax and delivery and CBO status on-line make it a no-go deal for me :( Might check in B&M after work if I have time...

I added mine to the Verbatim DVD+RW burner, so delivery isn't the problem. Tax is negligable. My RAM shows OPN, so no problem there. I guess the rebates are cleared up as well with the one rebate accepting a copy of the UPC. I'm still confused about the $12 rebate though. I guess it doesn't matter because $16 is better than $12. ;)

To get the free shipping I took mine over 50 with the RCA remote (20191196) and the GE phone (02231016), both of which are free after rebate, plus some rubber bands. Tax was $3.55.

Just got in under the wire! Went to OM at lunch and store price was $69.99. I asked them to lookup the RAM on the OM website and showed them the $29.99 online price. Thankfully, they "pricematched" to their own website price. :)

Thanks athiker. I just got home right now 11pm PST. Will this still work if I do it tomorrow? One of those rebates expires on the 24th, so I'm sorta cutting it close. Do rebates usually good until the included date or is up to but not including it? Thanks for clarifying and I hope that I can get in on this deal. The guy behind the counter did say that they would pricematch, but I had to bring a scan in.
