Great Drive, i got it last time this deal popped up i use it for strictly storage. I need a SATA HD now for main HD.
 
Warning: Seagate and Outpost/Fry rebates are bad news. Once they advertized a drive with a $50 rebate. However, they apparently had made a mistake and only offered me a $20 rebate. Another time a $50 rebate of mine got "lost" in the mail. They are very sketchy.

Well, I have bought and gotten 3 Seagate HDDs from Fry's all with rebates which arrived ~two months after sending them in. Very happy with the product and patient with the rebate.
 
I've heard that if you bought this model before and received rebates on it, they will not send you rebates for future purchases of same model. Can anyone confirm?
