My subscription ran out a few days ago and I haven't really noticed any speed difference so far.
The ads piss me off and I now can't send any PMs though, so I may give in and subscribe again. 🙂

I think that he is over the 100 PM non-subscriber limit so he can't send PMs until he deletes most of his.

Non-subscribers get a limit of 100 and I'm too lazy to clear them out 😛

 
The only thing that pisses me off is no one ever answers my emails. I send them to that special Subscriber email address but I get nothing. Send me something, anything, even if its a blank email... 😛
 
I had a one year subscription when it ran out i didnt renew.

Export PM's and delete... of course they got mysteriously lost somehow and that kinda freaks me out but o well 🙂

Kevin, let them know in the Forum Issues section. I believe Anand himself handles the subscription questions, and usually answers pretty quick. Post over there and see what's up.

at least its not super slow for normal users when they first implemented pay service.

it was sooo very slow.

its a great feeling when your money is well spent and you get what you paid for.

I often get that feeling when I order online using their promotion coupons and rebates and free shipping and no tax 🙂
 
I didn't renew my subscription after it ran out, they had added more bandwidth to the forums (thanks to the subscribers..). I wonder how many people will not renew because of the increased bandwidth. They should just have left it how it was, then there would be a reason to pay. Now I don't see a real reason, other than the increase in PMs..

congrats and its def worth it. its faster tho the non subscriber is fasster now then it was. but teh best thing is NO FUKIN ADDS!!!!!!!!!! o and huge PM limit

I've seen my wife surf AT using the free server and it's quite a bit faster compared to last year.

I have a subscribers account because:
1) I paid nothing, got mine for free (thank you Hot Deals).
2) It's supporting AT, I can't imagine how massive his costs are for the forums.
3) I hate the ad banners.
4) I hate having a 100 PM limit.
 
Mine runs out in 25 days. I can't believe it's been so long...

I'll probably be subscribing again since I have something like 630PM's, and it's hard to trade with the 100PM limit. I'm sure it can be done but I like having 1000.

Ads suck too 😀

Yeah, I thought it was a limit of saved PMs, as it in fact is, just making sure it wasn't a limit of the amount that can be sent period 😱
