I am doing it right now and everything seems fine. I never thought this was possible - that is why I said novice

What is going to break first :)

Thanks

Sure it will work, but I doubt it's running at full speed.

The PII 350 has a multiplier of 3.5 and should be run at 100 Mhz.
In an LX motherboard it's probably running at 3.5 X 66.

I am sure many are scratching their heads wondering why in the hell I would want to put that chip on the LX board in the first place

I had an old board here that I wanted to install and test. Well, I could not find my PII266 so I decided to try the PII350.

I am glad it worked.

Thank you for your help.
