Novice Needs EXPERT advice on SODIMM quality PLEASE!

Please help! Don't flame...I'm just a rookie looking for some advice!
I have a new HP notebook (celeron) and want more RAM. My laptop uses SODIMM PC100 SDRAM.
It can handle 256MB total. I am running WinMe, using the laptop mostly
to surf the net and to create & type documents in Word and Excel. Not used for gaming or
much else. I have the opportunity to purchase either of the following 2 options:

Option A
For $35 I can have 128MB total (64MB x 2 sticks)of original HP RAM PC100 SDRAM CS2
(it actually says Mosel Vitelic on the sticks).

or Option B
For $60 I can have 256MB total (128MB x 2 sticks)of Kingston Value RAM PC100 SDRAM CS2
(it actually says Samsung on the sticks).

Which should I go with, better quality or more quantity, for my needs?
I have done searches on this site that say Mosel Vitelic is great quality,
but have seen others stating the Kingston/Samsung is working fine in many laptops.
My cost per MB will about the same, but I am not sure how performance will be that much different if at all in regards to the quality or quantity of RAM. Please help me decide!

Either brand will be fine in your laptop. The main difference you will find in memory is when you are overclocking, something you will not be doing with a laptop. In your case, I would get the most memory you can afford, you never know when the price will go back up. If it were my choice I would go with 256MB/Kingston memory just because it is slightly cheaper and is of equal quality in your case.

Friend of mine who is a tech pulled these from laptops and offered them to me after testing.
Actually, the HP Mosel SODIMM is $35 for 64MB. I already have 64MB, so in my somewhat skewed reasoning I look at it as for $35 bucks, I can have 128MB total. Or for $60, (after I remove my current 64MB stick), I can install 256MB total. Plus I just realized that the 64MB stick I remove can probably sell on egay. So I took my friend's and nightowl's advice and went with the 256MB.
