My go to launcher now. I purchased the last time they offered it up at this price. I use to use Apex launcher, but it was too laggy so I switched to Nova and have been using it ever since. Great customizability.

Not sure I will use the Nova Launcher though. I used it years ago and was never happy with it. Bought it to try again and see if I like it any better. What to users gain over the standard launch screen?

The feature I use in particular is hiding cruft from the App Drawer.

For the launch screen and the Dock there's a lot of visual customization available, you can modify the grid size & spacing and coloration. Can also modify what icon is used.

I have no idea if the current stock launcher can do these things since I haven't used it in years.

I can't answer that, but it doesn't do any kind of network streaming or DLNA playback. An amazing lack of functionality in 2016.

It doesn't seem to hurt the battery life of my devices. You can always try the free version to get a feel for the launcher.
