I applied to a grad program in December. On the application it says to contact the university if you have not heard back that your materials have been received after March 15th. It also says offers will be sent on or before April 15th (yeah, really late).

I called ~the 18th and the person said that I should hear by the end of last week. That has now passed and today's mail has nothing. Should I call again or wait it out? I ask because this is the university I want to go to and the others I have been accepted to are really starting to nag.



After being bounced around a few times I found out that I got in....booya!

Yeah yeah, ok, I will call. I just don't want to seem like I am nagging, especially if I get the letter in the mail tomorrow.

It's not a job interview... the college isn't going to reject your application for calling them.

It's not a job interview... the college isn't going to reject your application for calling them.

While they may not reject me for it, it would make it a bit awkward if they accepted me. The program is very small, so the staff knows every persons name.

Yeah, I wondered that until I remembered it is a university.

In the business world it ceases to be nagging as soon as they miss their stated deadline. So yeah, call them and stop worrying about them taking it personally.
