Nothing to do at worK?

Apparently from the silly topics and such on ATOT most of us have nothing to do at work. So my question is why and if you are in IT like myself?

I do site support at a training center. SO on days when there aren't many classes going on, it's pretty dead around here. It usually picks up in the late morning/early afternoon but in the morning it's pretty dead. And on Fridays it's always dead.

Cleaner said it.

I'm currently installing debian to setup as a router/firewall.. there's about 2 hours where i'm just sitting and waiting.

So with all of our freetime what do you do with it?

I've gotten about 6 certs and am currently in grad school. That gives me lots of work to do during 'work'.

i have things to do but I'm so quick about it that I leave it all to do in my next spurt of motivation.

when the exchange server goes down, I have to stay all night. so i dont feel too bad about days of doing nothing 🙂
