A 4-year-old boy brought about $10,000 in crack cocaine to his Head Start classroom this morning.

Police were summoned to Family Development Services, 3637 N. Meridian St., about 8:30 a.m., according to the Indianapolis Police Department.

By about 1 p.m., officers were executing a search warrant at the boy's home, in the 400 block of West 41st Street.

If the child has access to crack, I doubt the parents have much of an impact on his life other than negatively. No point holding the parents to blame, they likely went through similar upbringings :( Monkey see, monkey do.

In all seriousness though his parents should be sterilized and he should obviously be placed in a different home.

It was originally mentioned that the parents let the kid bring the stuff in for show and tell. Haven't heard any updates though.

Neat how the teachers realized it was cocaine....I wonder if the original value brought in and the value delivered to the police were the same?

Haven't seen anything if they have the parents yet, but they did find the kid's baby brother at a relatives place.
