1) Elect a Democrat who likely will be one term & likely be essentially a Republican whom you can work with

My personal expectation is that should Moore win he will be seated and not expelled. He will say crazy stupid stuff that will turn off anyone who isn't a hardcore bible thumping snake handling Republican. Consequently every Dem running for office anywhere will run on an anti-pedo platform...which has already started in some places. The liabilities for 2018 are adding up in a big way for the GOP.
