Man, all I wanted was a stupid $1.49 USB cable for my phone with $5.99 shipping. Instead, first this stupid payment site (AuctionWorks.com, congrats buggy mess) refuses to accept the item number, and then charges me for insurance I didn't want on the shipment. And when I try to change it, it bills my PayPal account instead.
Oh well, it was only $2.00, but still. How annoying.
And at the same time, I'm trying to cancel my GameSpot Complete account, right? I got it last year for the E3 coverage, and it's set to automatically renew on July 10th. Well, I look through the account management section until I find an email form to "Cancel my GameSpot Complete Membership". Oh, all I have to do is email. Wrong!
They send an email back saying how they regret that I want to cancel, blah blah blah, and:
Geez. I signed up online. Why can't I cancel online? So I call the 866 and sit on hold for an indeterminate amount of time, listening to a series of different voices saying how important my call is, and thanking me for holding.
This is stupid.
