Nothing but problems with PNY xlr8 SSD

So i bought this 120 gb xlr8 SSD and it hangs, shutters and is just horrible!! i have posted a picture of what the SMART Diag says would anyone mind checking this out and giving me some advice.

Also tell us a little more about how you installed the drive and then put software on it (for example, was this a fresh windows installation onto the SSD, and did you remove all the other drives when you installed windows on it?).

Yeah I removed the other Hdd, installed the ssd did a clean installation of windows. Then formatted my Hdd so i had I had 2 clean drives I didn't need any special drivers everything went pretty smooth. I'm gonna try and upload another picture of the smart diag.

I have one of these SSDs that came with very old firmware on it, 5.01 I think. I updated to 5.07 and so far it's been acting normally.
Check what version of firmware it has listed on the sticker on it and make sure it's the latest version.


For the record, I hate PNY, but I got the SSD for free, so I can't complain.

i stick Samsung, Crucial or Intel. nothing else.
