Can't stand anything above medium. This past one I cooked is quite bloody. I am talking red throughout it. So how do you like yours?

Rare = Juicy
Medium = Not so Juicy
Well Done = Beef Jerky

Bloody = yummmm (but needs to be seered by a very hot fire on both sides for maximum flavor enjoyment)

reddish pink on the inside. seasoned brown on the top. nice mix of reddish-brown/brownish sauce.
I once got a medium-rare bloody prime rib. it looked like a cancer. never go that bloody again. It tasted good, just looked disgusting. can't stand the look of blood on fat trim. looks like liposuction.

Your categories are a little messed up...according to steakhouses, there is(after medium):

Medium rare(pink throughout)
Rare(pink throughout, cool center)

Very rare? What is that...uncooked? :)

Medium Rare and Rare are inlcluded. Most places won't serve any less due to liability. Can you not read boy?

Either medium well or well done, preferably the latter.

I don't understand how people can eat rare...yuck.

Super Rare
I mean just the outer layer slightly cooked to kill any bacteria
and completely raw on the inside

Hey with the right beef and the right condiments, raw (not rare) is quite tasty (much like raw blue fin). Never heard of Beef Tartar?

Vote for bloody. I love a rare steak. If you have ever been to the keg, you would have heard of "blue rare"; that is for me. We have a local sushi place that has "Beef shashimi". It is awesome, with some kind of sauce on it. Raw beef steak seared on the outside. Excellent.
