Nothbridge chipset FAN, blowing up or down?

It should be blowing down onto the chip, at least this is how my AK31a Northbridge fan is and it works just fine.

Mine's blowing to the right actually. ;):D

Of course, the motherboard is mounted sideways. It's blowing onto the chipset.

it should blown down onto the chipset.. not suck... the fan on there has a low CFM and the fins on the HS are wide enough not to cause the high pressure problem as you would see with Processor HS. With this width in the fins and fan speed, IMO, u might get a negative effect if you try to suck it;)

Thanks guys! My AK31 fan is shot and I just bought a Sunon 40mm that I'm going to stick in there. It's a little loud though :( 34dba
