notepad program is removed from my pc or disable?

what happen? I don't know why? does any 1 know why? I just open my pc and it doesn't work anymore. My .txt file can't be open anymore. I have to use ms word to open it. Please help thx.
 
I've had that happen on a couple of systems, though I don't know why. When it asks you to browse for notepad.exe, point it to the c:\windows folder.
