Notepad.exe window is sized wierd

My notepad.exe windows it like 100x200 or some other strange dimensions. I can't figure out how to make it so the window will start full screen. I've tried just opening it up, maximizing it, and closing it. However, it never remembers the correct window size. Anyone know how to fix this?

You lose Notepad has its dimensions hard code at startup. They are not read in from registry values.

Try to get some freeware that is smarter and more powerful than notepad.

A simple search to Windows utilities on any of the major download sites will get you going

thats wierd...mine does exactly what you are talking about....when i close it at one size it opens at that same size when i reopen it...what version of windows are you using?

if ur looking for a bigger better notepad start using textpad

use a program called Metapad, it is my favorite notebook replacement.....
