I am going to University next year. And i am thinking of buying a computer.
It will either be a laptop or a book pc with LCD mon. I use my computer to do all sort of things
such as programming, games, and a lot of internet and listen to Mp3.
( I am going to buy a laptop with either Redeaon 7500 or NV17M later next year, so gaming on my
laptop won't be problem )
The real question is, i am used to be online 24/7 and listen to Mp3 all days at home. Therefore
i leave my computer on for at least a few days.
And if i use a laptop:
will i be damaging it?? or will i shorten its life.

lifespan should be just fine, same as a desktop. battery might die sooner if you're constantly charging/discharging that though. (they're good for 1000 cycles usually)
