Notebook XGA interface to motherboard - standard?

I was wondering if all modern notebook xga monitors use the same interface to plug into the motherboard, thus allowing you to use different lcd monitors on one notebook. Thanks.

I would assume it would be quite standardized... from what I have seen they have been the same. Except that some LCDs plug into the gfx card and some plug into the motherboard (since the gfx are integrated).
