Notebook wattage

Here it goes... My question is around what wattage would a laptop run at?? The reason I ask this is that I'm going out of the country(South Africa) and I need to get a transformer to convert the 220 watts to 110 watts that the laptop can use. It is a Mac G3/400 if that makes any difference. It's that I am picking it up at the airport and I cannot get in contact with the company at the moment... I would much appreciate any answers. Thanks, JP

You better first go back to junior high general science class and find out the difference between a watt and a volt.

Its amazing what the mind looses over the years? when my 15 year old nephew comes up and asks me to help out with his 10th grade statistics homework, I can?t remember how to compute half of the questions on that particular page. Then again, math was never my strong point.
