Notebook...or Laptop?

laptop!!! saying a notebook is confusing to some ppl b.c they actually think your talking about a paper notebook until you say somthing that make them belive its a laptop
 
uhh... it really doesen't bother me either way laptop and notebook are interchangable, but there is only one subnotebook
 
It was laptop until they got too hot for the lap and caused injuries and the manuf were forced to change names or face neverending lawsuits from folks claiming since it's called a laptop it should be safe to use on your lap.

/Don't care if it's a myth, that's the story I heard and I'm sticking with it.
 
I like how all the apple freaks started saying "it's a 'notebook' not a 'laptop,' it's not designed for your lap," after the macbooks came out so hot :roll:
