Notebook mouse

I'm getting a laptop soon, and I'm looking for a mouse to take along with it.

I'd like it to be very small and optical, but I dont have any preference on wired/wireless.

Any suggestions? 🙂

very small and got it for $10 at walgreens.

rarely use it. you don't use mouse when you have the laptop on your laps 95% of the time. trackpoint rules after all

I have a Microsoft Notebook optical. I like it quite a bit. Actually, I have all MS mice on my various computers. I chose a wired mouse vs. a wireless because this way I'll never run out of batteries in my mouse ;P

I have the MX900 (bluetooth) with an R50p and I cannot emphasize how much it rocks. Its just so simple to whip the laptop out and use it without having to worry about plugging in cables or dongles. Plus, it allows much greater versatility when I'm in situations where a handy chair/table combo aren't present.

a Logitech MX310 might work in your situation, I normaly take a 2nd gen Logitech optical mouse around w/ my laptop as I had it left over since I replaced it w/ my MX500 on my desktop, it seems to work fairly well and it's to large

I'm more of a Logitech guy and use an MX300 at home, but it seems to big to be carried around, so I went to their website and see if they have anything new. I found this:

I think it looks really nice and seems to be quite small too.

And then I remember I saw some notebook mouses at Frys so I went to outpost.com too and these are the ones that caught my attention:

I think I'll see if I can find that Logitech one in store first.
