Okay all, the problem im experiencing on this is that the LCD screen on my friends notebook, seems to work, but is extremely dim...ive read up on the problems these notebooks seem to have including, bad inverter boards, disabling the LID switch and even having faulty back lamp lights/LCD screens...

I have changed out the inverter board...did not fix the problem..
I have disabled the Lid switch and still the same problem..

I even had my neighbor lend me her notebook, which is the same model, except my neighbors notebook has the front camera...

I changed out the LCD screens and here is the crazy thing: BOTH LCDs work on my neighbors laptop, but won't work on my friend's laptop...

What could the problem be and what are your guy's suggested actions...

As an 'in case, worst case scenario', anyone know of a good, cheap online repair shops? I remember reading about one that would only charge about $150 for fixing these kinds of problem, can't seem to find the link?? Just trying to get all my options covered before i try any more lol
