It's not like I have an ancient machine, so I don't understand why the NHC not recognizing my cpu temp, any suggestion to what I can do?

NHC still seems to be a little buggy with Yonah, but of course make sure you're using the latest version. Maybe e-mail the author and just let him know of your problem as well as system specs.

I have this problem too. I currently have the latest release (Pre-release-04), and I still find the temps of my Core Duo will change anywhere up to 10 degrees in a matter of seconds. I find this hard to be possible nonethless valid

A possible (while non-satisfactory) answer to that problem is the temperature sensor and how NHC reads it. Someone who works for a company that tests final notebook designs for companies like HP once told me how the temperature sensors used would be overly sensitive and the temperatures would spike & drop down quickly. Of course the solution to it being read this way is to slow the polling interval.

I am using the latest release as well. 🙁

Damn, and I installed the .net framework (something I wish I could do without) to see not everything working well 🙁
