I'm looking for some type of cross reference to find the performance equivalent of a Pentium 4 in a notebook. For example, what would the Pentium M equivalent be to a Pentium 4? What would an AMD Turion equivalent be to a Pentium 4 and so on.

Also, what would be the AMD equivalent to a Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ in a server application? Would an AMD processor be better in this type of application?

Thanks in advance for your help.

1) an opteron 144 roughly equivalent to a p4 3ghz, but in some server apps, opterons blow the p4's out of the water.

2) turions and pentium m's generaly work at the same performance per clock speed, so in this case a 1.8 - 2 ghz pentium m or turion would be equal to a p4 3.0 - 3.2ghz.
