Notebook cpu fan question

I just purchased my first notebook and noticed that the cpu fan never blows (at least not that I have noticed). I tried to search for answers to this question, but could not find any. Does anyone know? BTW, it is an averatec 3150H and occasionally it will get fairly hot.

most mobile notebooks have it set so that when the processor gets to a certain temp, the cpu fan turns on. an option is to purchase one of those notebook coolers, that sits under your laptop. They're pretty comfortable, and make the laptop a lot cooler. and they dont look half bad either.

I dont know about your model specifically....but thats just how most notebooks work.
