Hello,
I just joined your forums;
I've got a new notebook, Core2 Duo 2.16 Ghz processor. I had some simulation, ran it, and it was much slower than I would expect. I went to the setup and there is this information:
Min CPU clock: 1Ghz
Current clock: 1 Ghz
Max...: 2.16 Ghz

And this info was read-only, and there was no place in the bios where I could change this. Is this a factory setting, to save energy or something in that kind?
Thank you in advance!

you would usually find a setting in the bios for speedstep and if you disable it it will run at max speed.
