ShynnSw33tx, the only way I know of to prevent "wear" on the external case of a laptop is to just be careful and trat it like a glass platter. I haven't seen any other way to keep my lappy from damage.

Thanks a bunch. I was hoping to know if there is such a thing as a keyboard skin for the keyboard, Like how they have it for regular 101 keyboards you know?

Ahh, you need a keyboard condom. Just do a search for "laptop keyboard cover" on a search engine like google. Personally, I hate them, but if you want to keep fluids out of your laptop then they are a big step in right direction. For units with a eraserhead mouse, they pretty much kill the ability to use the mouse. The adhesive leaves a pretty nasty ring around the edge. And, it changes the feel of the keyboard more than it does on a desktop keyboard. Of course, they also get in the way of me working on a laptop, though I can't remember having to work on a laptop that had a keyboard condom and a bad keyboard.
