Notebook+counterstrike source

Hey,
Is a notebook with 512MB Ram, X700 128MB Graphics card and Intel Centrino M740 good enough to play counterstrike source?

are there benchmarks?

yea its good enough... maybe not MAX settings, but you'll be OK. I'd suggest upgrading to 1 gig or more RAM though.

that's no problem, I thought about that too, but is the CPU good enough?

Yeah. The Pentium M will be fine (Centrino = system type, specifically Intel Chipset/Wireless Card/Pentium M Processor) for your gaming needs.

What resolution do you want to run? Anything around 1024x768 or 1280x800 should be fine.

to what amd athlon 64 can you compare a pentium m740 1.73GHz?

I've never bought an Intel before, that's why...

740 is probably like a 3000+/3200+ give or take.

I would put it against a Turion ML-32/37 or so also.
