Notebook Cooler

What is a good laptop cooler that you all have used? I have bought 3 in the past 4 months, they seem to last 1 month max. Belkin Fl5001, and 2 el cheapo ones from Frys. The fans just seem to quit on them all.

Why do you think you need a notebook cooler? Are you running it in an usually hot environment or overclocking it? As long as you set the notebook on a flat smooth surface at room temperature it will be fine. If it's overheating you should clean the notebook to remove dust buildup.

The fact that your coolers only last a month indicates to me that you are running in an extreme environment and possibly loading the fans with dust.

No, it is my girlfriends Toshiba Satellite M65. It gets really hot when she plays FFXI on it. They are notorious for getting hot, to the point of shutting down. A Cooler keeps it from getting too hot. They aren't getting dusty at all, she keeps her apartment clean and blows the fans out if they get a bit dusty. She does keep it on all of the time though, she uses it as much as a PC.

What are the specs on it?
Are the fans on the laptop turning on?
Are the fans running full speed?

my antec has been good for a year or so. worth the $15.

but on a side note, there is no difference in load/idle temps in my laptop with or without the cooler.
