Notebook can't connect to network

Hello,

I've been trying connect a notebook to a router but I need to have the network floppy to connect to other computer. But the notebook doesn't have a floppy drive. Any ideas around this? I'm new to this networking thing so I am not really sure.

I posted this in this forum because there are other things i want to do with floppies (play Commander Keen) but the notebook has no floppy drives.

2 options 1 can think of...

1) Get a USB drive...
2) Using a computer with a floppy + CD RW, write the image of the floppy to a CD. Use this CD on your laptop...

Normally a program that insists on a floppy wont budge from seeking drive A. There are, however, floppy drive emulators that will keep the floppy image within RAM, and for all intents and purposes, your drive A is now a real floppy. Of course, you need access to a computer with a physical floppy to make the images in the first place.
