I'm looking for a notebook backpack (not a carrying bag, a backpack that goes on the back) and I can't seem to find any decent ones for a good price.
My price range is around 50 dollars, so anyone have any recommendations?
thanks.

and also, what should I look for in a good backpack?

you migt have to go to the web on looking for something like that. I personally use targus. The one i had that my brother stole from me was a targus. Targus makes good backpacks. Just make sure the backpak has 2 pokets. One for the laptop itself and the other for books and other things. Lots and Lots of pockets are a big plus!

I had a Targus Matrix. Held my Inspiron 8100 really well. Never had any problems. Lots of storage. I would recommend it.

^Yeah, I did some research on their cases, but they are way too expensive. most that I found are at least 100 dollars.

Thanks for the recommendations!

That's the one I have, was $30 from Dell (50% off at the time)

Very pleased with it. Holds my 17" Inspiron 9300 with room to spare. Great for airliner carry-on, as I can fit a change of clothes and all personal items in it, as well as the laptop/mouse/adapter/etc.

Another vote for the matrix here! I just purchased it and I like it pretty well so far.
