Notebook and Bluetooth headphones problem

I have a Toshiba Portege R700-1C4 Notebook. I had also purchase a JBL synchros BT headphones to use with the laptop.
A Bluetooth connection is successful, but the sound is terrible (whistling). I tried two different computers, same result. The connection to the phone functions without problems.
JBL support told me - this problem has nothing to do with headphone, it is caused by the fact that NTB do not have support for A2DP stereo audio via Bluetooth. But in driver information is this message: "Supported Bluetooth Profiles:- A2DP: Advanced Audio Distribution Profile."
Can anyone speak to this issue, and is there indeed a driver to make this work?
Thank you!
