i need a notebook now...(but i need it even more next sept for university)

i can get a celeron m, 15-inch, acer notebook rite now for ~$800CND (256 ram?)
or i can get a pentium m 740, 17-inch acer for about $1300CND (1gig ram, 80gig hd)

or should i wait for duo? do u guys think i can get a intel duo w/ something like 1gig ram, 7200 hd etc... for $1500 in july/august?

or should i buy celeron m rite now and ebay it later ... but i doubt i can get much for it once duo comes out

or do u think celeron m can last me for 4 years of universiyt?

finally, how much faster will the celeron m be than my p4 2.4 northwood 533 fsb

Depends how much you need one now and how much you would benefit from a dual core (i.e. will you be running multi-threaded applications).

If you plan on taking this laptop to class with you (or just carrying it a lot in general), I would strongly recommend against getting a 17". Even a 15" is a bit on the large size (for most people at least).
