Notebook AC Adaptor Confusion

I will be travelling to Singapore in a few weeks, and will take my notebook with me. However, I check on the Compaq site, and it says that my AC adaptor will not work internationally. See the llink.

However, on the bottom of my AC adaptor, it clearly shows that it can be used with a 240v input. See here.

So which should I believe? HP, or the bottom of my notebook ac adaptor?
