They shatter into a million peices that go flying all over the place and coat the room in a layer of tiny glass shards... and your fingers bleed.

Probably the same thing that made me take the cover off of an old 640 meg HD, plug it in and watch it spin, draw on it with a marker while it spun, then unplug it and break, er, take apart and analyze every last component.

While you're at it, why don't you try putting your finger in a fan.:p

did that with a 120mm panaflo on accident, was checking the heatsink temperature, accidentally got a finger in the fan. Blade went shooting off the fan, and finger started bleeding. That was a while ago though.

When I had a ferret, she was hiding rasins in my shoes (As usual) and on the way back from a rasin run, she tried to take a look in my open computer case (I was doing an upgrade), and stuck her schnoz right in a black label Delta. THWUMP! She shook her head for a few seconds, winced a bit, and went right back to hiding rasins in my shoes. She said "The hell" with looking in that mean case again. :D

It had to hurt like hell.
