Stories like this end up being far more horrible when you find out you know the girl. Turns out this was a friends ex girlfriend whom I would chat with on AIM every now and then. To say the least when I found this out last night, I felt the extreme need to get plastered.

its a lack of simple common sense to go into natural water when you cannot see very far. its takes delusional belief that all things natural are harmless.

its a horrible tragedy. I have cousins in FL and they never talk about fear of gators. in fact, they have said what Jemcam is now saying. right now because if the hurricanes, gators might be a little touchy though.
